Based on the growth of FinOps and its role in driving efficiency and savings, Arlington Research and Virtana surveyed 350 IT leaders to understand their approach to cost management and who the stakeholders are that are making the cloud decisions.

The results found that 70% of cloud decision makers view silos across teams as a hindrance to IT’s ability to maximize business value. And only 26% of organizations report C-suite executives are active cloud stakeholders. In fact, very few other non-IT teams are participating in the cloud decision-making process. But isn’t the cloud a critical enabler of business transformation?
